Edgar was confident in his knowledge of the jungle and encouraged me to step outside my comfort zone and try new things, while keeping our safety of utmost importance. His calm demeanor made me feel safe and comfortable in a completely foreign area. Edgar's love of the jungle was evident and made it easy for us to fall in love with it as well. Edgar grew up in the jungle and his expertise of the land is immeasurable and impressive; we learned more about the Amazon than I knew wa possible. Edgar had a great plan for the 3 days, but he was very flexible about what we wanted to do, allowing more time in certain places (like with the animals which I LOVED) and skipping one activity when we were too exhausted from the days adventures. He was easy to talk to, but respectful when we wanted to quietly enjoy the beautiful scenery and sounds of the jungle. Edgar quickly became our friend during this once in a lifetime expedition. I am thankful to have had such a wonderful guide to provide such unforgettable memories on this once-in-a-lifetime experience!

I saw pigmy monkey, huge caiman, pink dolphin, and even an electric eel! Truly incredible. Edgar is an amazing guide, who grew up in the Amazon, and know everything about the plants and animals. I couldn’t have noticed 99% of the animals, but he knows exactly how to see them and find them. We also got to interact with his tribe who lives there, I learned so much.
