Day 1 (trip starts after the arrival of people better in the morning )

If the airport: we pick you up from the airport and when the trip finishes we leave you in your preference hotel or in the airport

Afternoon birding in The Allpahuayo Mishana National Reserve, a unique sagebrush varillal forest on white sand that is home to several species of birds known only from this forest, including the Ancient Antwren, Mishana Tyrannulet, Allpahuayo Antbird, Northern Chestnut=tailed Antbird, Pompadour Cotinga, and Saffron-crested Tyrant Manakin.

Morning at 9:pm departure to Yarapa Reserve by bus to Nauta port
Afternoon speedboat to the Capibara Eco lodge

Full day birding near the mouth of the Yarapa, a great place for sandpipers, herons, terns, skimmers, stilts, plovers and others. Evening looking for nocturnally active species along the river

At the Capibara Eco lodge

Morning in varzea ecosystem, afternoon in secondary growth habitats around the villages

Morning in tahuampa ecosystem (flooded forest; afternoon birding in cocha ( lake).

					  Had such a great time exploring the Amazon river and its tributaries. Saw a ton of wildlife from caiman, sloths, river dolphins, capybaras, to tons of different birds including prehistoric... read more birds and macaws! It was just an amazing trip and Edgar was really the most critical part of it. He is exceptionally knowledgeable about the jungle from tracking animals and telling about their behaviors, to describing traditional health properties of plants and vines. He is a survival expert in his element in the jungle and it really shows. He was always looking for cool and exciting things to show us and tell us about. He is really a caring guy and wants his guests to experience as much as possible. Could not recommend Edgar enough!
